Challenge

Hluska Enterprises, Inc wanted to redefine the image of their Reaper's Realm Haunted Attractions property. The first goal was to update the look and make it more of a seamless style. Next was to develop a grungier theme and incorporate animation into the header that would add to the Halloween/Horror type theme.

The Process

Unlike most clients, Hluska Enterprises was very willing to work hand in hand on the redesign and provided constant input on changes that were made or that they would have like to have seen. We began the design process will some mock-up images and went through a number of revision stages. They were very focused on their end goal and made it really easy to refine the design after every call.

Scripting
Once all of the overall design elements were in place we focused our attention on creating some eye catching animations for some of their on-site attractions. We also designed a simple animation which denotes their 20th Anniversary with a nice blood splat and a slash in prices. Everything was tied together with some animations in the top of every page as you move your mouse over the links to the site contents.

After completing the design and functionality of the website, Hluska Enterprises had us go one step further and help create their marketing collateral. We designed their magazine ad for chicagoland distribution and a poster for resale at the haunted house and display throughout their target market.

The Result

The new reapersrealm.com website was launched in September 2010, just in time for the 2010 Halloween season, a week before opening day.
