Affordable, Custom Web Design

Specializing in customized website design, we work hard to meet the specific requirements of our clients. We provide everything from basic website design to complete e-commerce websites allowing you to sell products online. Each website we create is professionally designed and optimized for quick load time and ease of navigation. It is our intent to ensure that your message reaches your clients and target customers in the most effective manner possible.

A Passion For Design

Our customers come to us with a simple desire to either put their company on the web or update an old drab site. Simply bring us whatever information that you have and a clear idea of what you would like to accomplish and we will build you a productive and attractive website to be proud of.

Review our standard process guidelines (outlined below), contact us today for your FREE web design quote!

The Process

Step 1. Design Consultation

We meet and discuss your business, your customers, your reasons for wanting a website and what you expect from having a website. We then have you fill out our short form worksheet. This form will give us a more precise guage of what your needs will be and allow us to create a more accurate quote.

Step 2. Quotes and Proposals

We review your website requirements and goals and deliver a soft quote. This will give you a basic outline of the estimated work and associated costs to complete your project. If you agree with the quote then we send you a formal proposal and our service terms and agreement. Both forms must be signed and returned before projects can begin.

  • Once we submit your proposal, any and all add-on services, work or "after thoughts" are additional and will be billed accordingly.
  • All proposals are valid for 30 days
Step 3. Material Collection

Once we have reached an agreement we can start the actual design process. We have a much more in-depth website worksheet that provides us with any and all information that we could need to formulate your site "theory". Return the in-depth worksheet and collect all of the information that you have that relates to your products or services as they pertain to the website. Text, print, copy, brochures, products, pictures, product specs, etc...ALL help us get your site underway.

Step 4. Sample Layouts - Mockups

Based on your in-depth worksheet and the other information that you supply we begin developing mockups of what your website could look like. We use the mockups as a way to narrow down exactly what you are looking for in terms of design and layout. Only your feedback will help us to design the most effective website for you and your customers.

Step 5. Navigation/Architecture

All too often site navigation is not given the attention that it deserves. We put an emphasis on your website architecture and the navigation used to get around. You can choose to use text, graphics or even menu systems to help your users easily find their way around.

Step 6. Asthetics

A color scheme can convey a unified brand. If you use specific colors in your logo or a certain typeface in your logo and printed materials, this is when we decide on what to incorporate and how. This is also the time when we resize and optimize photos and add your product information to databases.

Step 7. Review and Selection

Using the feedback from the mockup sites and your input on site navigation and asthetics we can build a more comprehensive sample of what your homepage may look like. If all of the feedback requires two or more additional samples, they will be available for review as well.

Step 8. Design and SEO

Based on your selection in the previous step, we will begin designing your working homepage. This is when it is critical that all materials were supplied in "Step 3" above. Based on your supplied information we carefully word your homepage and layout appropriately to maximize for SEO.

Step 9. Development

Generally a secondary layout to the homepage, the rest of the site's pages will be laid out and custom scripting will be included as required. This can be as simple as a contact form or as complex as an e-commerce system.

Step 10. Completion and Testing

chrismauck.com utilizes a network of over 500 professional web designers from around the world to review your website. This allows a wide range of testers to view your site on different computers, using different browsers over different types of internet connections.

Step 11. Review & Revisions

We will present your working site (preview) to you for your approval. If any changes are to be made to the site, this is the time. Once you approve your site at this stage, the next step is to upload the site to your server.

Step 12. Upload & Go-Live

Once you have approved the website layout and content we will upload all of the files to your server and the site will become "live" for all the world to see! We will review the site with you and make sure that everything operates as promised.

Step 13. Delivery

We will ensure that you are comfortable using your hosting account and can add and edit your email accounts (if applicable). We will also deliver a backup copy of all of the files from your website. This includes all original media which was created for you and your pre-existing media that was originally supplied to us for our development needs (if applicable).
