Privacy Policy
At chrismauck.com, protecting our user's privacy and security is a top priority. For this reason, we have adopted the following policy to advise you of your choices regarding the use of your personal information online. This policy describes what types of information we gather about you, how we use it, and your rights to update or correct it.
This policy applies only to chrismauck.com. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of the web sites to which we may link. Please review the individual privacy policies of those sites as needed.
1. We gather certain generic information with respect to customer's use of our web site, such as the number of unique visitors, the frequency with which they visit, and the areas on the web site that they visit the most. We only use this information in aggregate-that is, we look at the data on a collective basis, in summary form, rather than on an individual basis. This data helps us determine the extent to which our visitors use certain parts of our website.
2. We monitor which pages are viewed, in what order, and for what duration by analyzing the IP address information and the time stamp that are logged every time that someone clicks a link within the web site. IP addresses are unique numeric identifiers that are assigned to each computer browser accessing the Internet. The IP address itself cannot identify you personally or release any of your personal information; however, it does identify your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Together with an IP address and a time stamp, your ISP can determine whose computer may have sent a malicious message at that exact time.
3. When a visitor registers for a free download or an online trial application, they have the option of signing up for occasional newsletters or opt-in mail correspondence. chrismauck.com will never send unsolicited mailings to its users. All opt-in members may click the link at the bottom of any mailings to be removed immediately.
4. The information collected from the download or trial application registrations is simply added to our database and analyzed by geographic location, popularity and return visits. The information is used for the sole purposes of chrismauck.com and is never given or sold to third-party companies.
Notwithstanding the above policies, we reserve the right to disclose your personal information to appropriate third-parties if we are required to do so by law or we believe that such action is necessary:
- To comply with legal process such as search warrant, subpoena or court order;
- To protect the company's rights and property;
- To investigate reports of users sending material using a false e-mail address or users sending harassing, threatening, or abusive messages;
- To protect against misuse or unauthorized use of our web site and/or chrismauck.com's services; or
- During emergencies, such as when we believe someone's physical safety may be at risk.
Your IP address is logged as you click through the pages of the chrismauck.com web site. Under certain circumstances, chrismauck.com, their legal representatives, and/or law enforcement authorities may be able to combine this with information disclosed by ISPs to determine the source of a particular communication. By using the services at chrismauck.com, you knowingly and voluntarily assume any risks associated with such disclosure.
You may change your mind about being a member of chrismauck.com or having your email address on our mailing list. For this purpose, all correspondence sent via email from chrismauck.com has an "opt-out" or "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email. Simply click on this link while using the email address that was provided for membership and your name will be added to the remove list. Please allow five to seven business days for the process to take complete effect.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and rights of all users online, including children. Our policy is to only collect information from people above the age of 13, and in almost all cases actually the age of 18. Children have a right to a safe, productive internet experience like everyone else. The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") imposes certain requirements upon websites and online services that are directed toward children.
chrismauck.com will occasionally update this Privacy Policy in accordance with changing business circumstances and legal developments. When chrismauck.com posts changes to this Policy, you will see the word "updated" or "new" next to the Privacy Policy link at the bottom of the pages of chrismauck.com. If there are material changes to this Policy or in how chrismauck.com uses your personally identifiable information, chrismauck.com will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. chrismauck.com encourages you to periodically review this Policy to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
