Email Setup Instructions
Please use the tutorials listed below to setup your personal email client (software) if your website is hosted through ipower.com. Please note that the examples are flash presentations, but you must have javascript enabled for the videos to "pop out". Contact me for a link directly to the file you require if you cannot get the videos to function.
Important! For proper access to your email account you need the following information:
POP3 (incoming): mail.your-domain-name.com
SMTP (outgoing): mail.your-domain-name.com
Username is ENTIRE email address: eg - owner@your-domain-name.com
- Configure Eudora as your e-mail client.
- Configure Foxmail as your e-mail client.
- Configure Incredimail as your e-mail client.
- Configure Mac OS X Mail as your e-mail client.
- Configure Opera as your e-mail client.
- Configure Outlook Express as your e-mail client.
- Configure Outlook 2000 as your e-mail client.
- Configure Outlook 2003/2007 as your e-mail client.
- Configure Pegasus as your e-mail client.
- Configure Thunderbird as your e-mail client.
Online Email Tools
You can check your email (if hosted by ipower.com) through a simple access portal. It resembles many online email tools and can be used from anywhere.
Simply point your web browser to http://mail.your-doman-name.com.
When prompted enter the entire email address and password for the account that you wish to login to. When you click enter you will be logged into a mobile email interface.
Setting Up A New Email Account
