A Word On Logos

Highly decorative, these designs can feature characters or intricate designs and are usually best for online or digital presentation. Very popular because of their unique design and use of many colors; however, very impractical to print because the costs can become quite high.

We create each design by hand, first sketching out the initial concepts on paper and scanning them into the computer for your review. Once a design concept is chosen, we move on to cleaning up the design, adding ink and creating a digitized copy. At this point we need to focus on the color scheme to be used and how it ties into the rest of your business identity.

A relatively simple design to carry across printing and advertising media, the iconic logo type offers few colors with a crisp, clean design. This style is a bit toned down from the illustrative listed above, but still carries with it an iconic symbol of what the business is about, or something that relates to it.

We will create a few mock-ups by hand and some simple artwork on the computer to get an idea of what you are looking for in this design. Once we have settled on one or two concepts we will present them to you with different layouts of text-to-icon (left or right of icon, or above or below).

Fortune 500 companies agree the clean, strong impression that a text based design can deliver. Subtle changes to font styling and a portion of an image intertwined really make this style of design pop. Colors are usually kept to a minimum which helps keep printing costs to a minimum.

After you have chosen a concept as your logo of choice and we have digitized the image we will shift our focus to final color selection and other image tweaks performed in the final revision stages.
